Free Movies This Summer At Regal
->
I don’t know why I didn’t think of posting about this earlier… but, better late than never!
Every summer Regal Cinemas offers a Free Family Film Festival where they have free family friendly movies on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s at 10am. I took my 8 year old son to see Happily N’Ever After this morning and we had such a great time. As we were walking out of the theater, he grabbed my hand and said, “That was a lot of fun mom!”
Makes me happy to know I’m making memories for him…
There are some great movies this year – although they probably are different depending on your location – but, in the Portland area we have the Water Horse, Veggie Tales: The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything, Doogle, The Arctic Tale and many, many more!
Here is a link to find out what is playing in your area…
Enjoy!

Another FREE resource – Meals Matter – A TIME Saver!
I’m noticing that if you poke around enough you can find almost any service for free on the internet…
Okay… I guess you can’t find a free maid or babysitter… but, there are amazing sites out there to help you not need a maid
At any rate… there are some excellent services available for meal planning online… in fact, a friend of mine, Christine, runs a great service like this called Dine Without Whine. I love it!
But, yesterday I came across a very cool online tool that is completely FREE and creates a shopping list for you… and more. It is packed with recipes, pantry planners, meal planners, suggestions, etc… a very comprehensive tool – I was shocked to find out it was free! Anyhow, check it out – and let me know what you think…

Forget WebKinz… Check Out HandiPoints – Chores Earn HandiPoints
I am always looking for a new chore system for my kids… I have implemented a few and they have all worked well – but, after a while they seem to fizzle. Can you relate?
Well – that is until I stumbled on HandiPoints.
This site is SO cool and, in my opinion, blows WebKinz out of the park. I know – chores and WebKinz don’t really have much to do with each other… but, the online WebKinz world is what ‘HandiLand’ reminded me of… only, the difference is that kids EARN time (and Handi Money for clothes, games, etc.) in HandiLand! And, they earn it by doing chores.
The site has great chore charts and does all the tracking for you. You can print them out – or let your child login and check their online chart. Each chore has a point value added to it (by you) and it is all tracked automatically!
I haven’t seen anything like this online… in fact, they should really be charging for the service… but, it is FREE! (Told you it was better than Webkinz!
