Same snack… Just looks different

by Jenni on July 18, 2007

The other day I sliced up a banana and served it to my youngest son. He thought it was so funny and gobbled it right up… see, usually I hand him a whole banana for him to munch on. He appreciated having it offered to him in a different way.

Keep fruit snacks from getting boring by trying a few of these ideas:

Fruit on a stick: Cut up different fruits such as bananas, apples, grapes, mango, kiwis and others… and slide them onto a skewer or craft stick for a yummy treat.

Use a Muffin Pan: Kids love to pick and choose for themselves – provide a bunch of different cut-up fruits and cheerios in a muffin pan for them to choose from.

Quick Banana Ice
simply take a few bananas and mash them in a bowl. Cover and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Remove from freezer, fluff up with fork for a healthy, ice cream like treat.

Enjoy!
