I have a couple of themes in my life right now… I’m seriously working on SELF-DISCIPLINE for 2010 – and a part of that is managing my time better. As a work at home mom, I have a ton of projects going on at any given time. If I’m not schooling my 3 kids, I’m working on my online business… if I’m not cleaning the house, I’m making sure my kids get some outside time at the park. The list goes on and on for us mommies – doesn’t it? And, although I started this blog when I had a couple toddlers in the house… I have come to realize that it really doesn’t matter how old your kids are! (Mine are 10, 7 and 5 now)… there are always snacks to prepare, there is grocery shopping to do, a house to clean… you get the idea, right?
The other theme in my life right now is COUPONING. I am hooked! I just wish I had more time for it because with minimal effort… amazing deals can be found.
Over the next few weeks I’ll share a bit about my couponing adventure… and how I have saved with coupons this year. But, today, I wanted to share with you a story about a friend of mine. We recently hooked up again and she shared with me all about her new blog, Money 4 This – Not 4 That. She has some great ideas for saving and spending! Well, she shares about a conversation we had recently in one of her latest blog posts… We were sharing our frustration about shopping with coupons and watching so many people spending more than they need to on the same items. It makes me want to tell them how much they could save! Anyhow, Amy shares a great story about how she was the coupon santa!
It’s a great story… You can how Amy paid if forward with coupons here.
