by Jenni on November 14, 2007

This is such a COOL service… I’ve mentioned it before – but, decided to give away a 3 month subscription :)

Dine Without Whine is a service that provides a weekly dinner menu and shopping list… every Tuesday, I look forward to receiving my Dine Without Wine menu. The recipes are great and family friendly… and the shopping list makes planning super easy. Now you can win a three month subscription to Dine Without Whine – here is what you have to do… Answer this question as a comment to this post:

What do you struggle with most at dinner time?

Answer in a comment to this post BEFORE Monday, November 19th – midnight and we will randomly choose a commenter to be the winner of a free 3 month subscription to Dine Without Whine!

I’ll answer first… I use to struggle with looking at my fridge at 5pm wondering what in the world I could pull together for my family of 5 in less than 30 minutes! No more… not without Dine Without Wine. Now, my biggest struggle is figuring out how to get my grocery shopping done with three young ones under foot, in the cart, hanging on the cart… you get the idea :) What about you?

I struggle with all of it: what to cook, when to put each item on so each will be warm but not burned and ready to eat in a timely fashion, how to get my little one occupied so she won’t be hanging on my legs while I try to cook, and what I’m going to have the next evening for dinner!

I struggle with making meals for my family that I can eat on my diet and that the kids won’t roll their eyes at.

Cooking dinner with a 5 month old and a 3 year old. Its hard for me to even decide what to make. Then to actually make it with 2 little ones hanging on me — It’s amazing we don’t order pizza more. LOL

What do you struggle with most at dinner time? Like most parents, trying to keep it fresh and interesting…and yes the Macaroni request comes up way to much for my liking….. I get tired of it so they have to too, right? My youngest just doesn’t want to eat, she is 21mths old, and from one day to the next, she eats or doesn’t and sometimes I wonder if my cooking is too bland for her liking or what. It’s frustrating to open your fridge or look in your cabinets and stare blankly at all the food you just bought but have no idea what to do with it!. That is what I most struggle with at dinner time. Thanks for listening.

Making things that everyone likes and coming up with different side dishes besides canned corn or green beans.

Cooking meals that my husband, my four year old, and my almost two year old will ALL eat so that I don’t have to fix three different things!
